The Asian Collaboration for Trauma was founded with the initial aim of sharing knowledge and experience in trauma care within member states. Originating in southeast Asia, it has grown in membership across Asia including middle, south and east Asia.
The reach and focus of ACT now include injury prevention, prehospital care, civilian and military partnerships, emergency, acute and intensive care, trauma surgery, and rehabilitation. It serves as a nidus for academic projects and collaborations, and linkages for fellowship opportunities.
The association continues to grow and looks forward to spreading knowledge, and best practices while pushing the boundaries of Trauma care to make Asia and the world safer for all.
The ACT Executive Committee for 2025/2026 was appointed during the 2024 ACT Business Meeting in 2024.
